Cross-Platform Video and Data Synchronization

The main hurdle was achieving seamless integration of the Jitsi video server into a mobile environment, ensuring reliable background processing and fast synchronization of course notes and subject purchases across platforms.

React Native & Jitsi Mobile Bridge

Used React Native to leverage a single codebase for both iOS and Android. Integrated the Jitsi video client via native modules/web views for full-screen session management and ensured smooth transitions from the app to the live class.

Features: Secure student/tutor login with optional mobile biometric authentication.

Offline Note Storage and Subject Purchasing

Implemented an encrypted local database (e.g., Realm or SQLite) to store notes and subject purchasing metadata for fast offline access. Purchasing subjects is facilitated via secure in-app browser views linked to the main platform gateway.

Persistence: Encrypted local storage for learning notes and course data.
Purchasing: Secure in-app browser payment flow linking to the gateway.
Efficiency: High code reuse (95%+) between mobile platforms.
