Terms of Service

The ground rules for using our website and working with us, covering pricing, payments, ownership and support.

Last updated: November 7, 2026

01Agreement to these terms

These terms apply when you use the Web X Studio website or hire us for web, mobile or related services. By using the site or engaging us, you agree to them.

For larger projects we may also sign a separate proposal or contract. If it conflicts with these terms, the signed proposal or contract takes priority for that project.

02Our services

We offer, depending on the package you choose:

  • Website design and development (template-based and custom)
  • E-commerce and CMS setup (such as WordPress, Webflow, WooCommerce, Shopify)
  • Custom web apps, dashboards and APIs
  • Progressive web apps and cross-platform mobile apps
  • Hosting and domain setup assistance, and ongoing maintenance (AMC)

The exact scope, deliverables and timeline for your project are set out in the quote or proposal we send you.

03Quotes and pricing

  • Prices on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are a guide. “Fixed” packages cover the listed scope; “onwards” packages start at the price shown and depend on your requirements.
  • Your final price is the one in the written quote we send you.
  • Prices exclude applicable taxes, including GST, unless stated otherwise.
  • Quotes are valid for 15 days unless the quote says otherwise.
  • Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and starts only after you approve it.

The rate card on our site shows typical ranges. It is not an offer, and your project may cost less or more.

04Payments

  • We usually start work after an advance payment. The amount and any milestone schedule are stated in your quote.
  • Invoices are due within the period shown on the invoice. If none is shown, payment is due within 7 days.
  • We may pause work or delay launch while an invoice is overdue.
  • Advance payments are non-refundable once work has begun, as they cover time and resources already reserved for you, unless we have failed to deliver what we agreed.
  • Recurring fees, such as monthly support, are billed in advance for each period.

05Timelines and your responsibilities

We plan timelines carefully, but they depend on you too. To keep the project on schedule, you agree to:

  • Provide content, images, logos and access credentials on time
  • Give feedback and approvals within a reasonable period
  • Make sure you own or have permission to use everything you give us
  • Name one person who can make decisions for your business

Our 7-day launch guarantee for the Basic Website package applies only if all content and images are complete and ready when work begins, and feedback is returned promptly. Delays on your side move the launch date.

06Revisions and support

Each package includes the revisions, bug-fixing period and support listed in its description. A bug is something that does not work as agreed. Changes to design, content or features after approval are treated as new work.

Support periods start on the launch date. After they end, ongoing support and maintenance are available under a monthly plan or as separately quoted work.

07Free domain and hosting offer

Where a package includes a free domain and hosting for the first year, we pay for those for 12 months from the launch date. After the first year, renewal costs are your responsibility. We will remind you before renewal.

The domain is registered in your name or your business name, and you remain its owner. Offers apply only to the packages stated on our website and may change for new customers at any time.

08Ownership and intellectual property

  • Once we receive full payment, you own the custom design and code we created specifically for your project.
  • We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, code libraries, templates and know-how, and give you a licence to use them as part of your finished project.
  • Third-party items, such as themes, plugins, fonts, stock images and open-source code, stay under their own licences. You are responsible for any licence fees they require.
  • Until full payment is received, we keep all rights in the work and you may not launch or reuse it.
  • You keep ownership of the content you give us.

Unless you tell us in writing that you do not want this, we may show your finished project and describe our work in our portfolio and marketing. We will not publish your confidential information.

09Third-party services

Most projects rely on services we do not control, such as hosting, payment gateways, app stores, email tools and plugins. Their pricing, terms, outages and policy changes are outside our control. We are not responsible for losses caused by these services, but we will help you work around issues where we reasonably can.

10Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use our website or services for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful
  • Ask us to build sites or apps that infringe others' rights, spread malware or mislead people
  • Try to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to our website or systems
  • Submit false information or send spam through our contact form

We may decline or stop any project that breaks these rules.

11Confidentiality

We treat non-public business information you share with us as confidential and use it only to deliver your project. This does not apply to information that is already public, that we already knew, or that we must disclose by law. Both sides agree to protect passwords and access credentials shared during the project.

12Disclaimer of warranties

We build with care and test our work, but software is complex. Except for what is stated in your quote or proposal, our website and services are provided “as is”. We do not promise that your site or app will be error-free, always available, or achieve particular results such as search rankings, traffic or sales.

13Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of business, arising from our services or website.

Our total liability for any claim connected to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14Cancellation and termination

  • You may cancel a project at any time by writing to us. You will pay for work completed and costs incurred up to that point.
  • We may pause or end a project if you do not pay, do not provide what we need for a prolonged period, or break these terms.
  • If either side ends the project, we will hand over completed work that has been paid for.
  • Sections on ownership, payment, confidentiality, liability and governing law continue after termination.

15Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any disagreement in good faith. If we cannot, the courts at Jodhpur, Rajasthan will have exclusive jurisdiction.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date shown at the top. Projects already agreed in writing continue under the terms in force when they were agreed. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
